Questions artists ask
What does "exclusive territory representation" mean?
For the destinations listed in your agreement, Explera DMC is your only booking representative. Any booking for you there, whatever its source, must be contracted through Explera. Outside those destinations you can work with anyone.
What if a client contacts me directly?
Forward the enquiry to us within 48 hours, using your portal messages or email. We take it from there and you still get your fee. Contracting directly with clients in our destinations breaches the agreement.
How much commission does Explera take?
The standard commission is 20% of the gross engagement fee, and it is always written in your agreement. Some engagements are quoted as a net fee to you, which we confirm in writing before you accept.
How long is the agreement?
The standard term is 24 months. After that it renews yearly unless either side gives 60 days' notice.
Who handles visas, flights and accommodation?
Our DMC teams arrange work permits, flights, hotels and ground transport for each engagement, as agreed in the booking confirmation.
How do I follow my application?
Every step is shown in your artist portal, from review and any follow-up questions to signing and going live.
Will my phone number or location be shown?
Never. The public site shows only your stage name, act, bio, photos and videos. Contact details, location, socials and ID documents are visible to the Explera team only.
